About Tarn & Leopard Cleaning Services

Meet Tarn—the original Leopard and proud Batemans Bay local behind Leopard Cleaning Services. Tarn’s strong work ethic was forged growing up on a cattle farm, watching her parents run businesses and weather the ups and downs of farm life—from enduring droughts, floods and bushfires to fixing fences, mustering cattle, splitting wood, playing cards by lantern light, and living without electricity while relying on a generator.

With a Bachelor of Business majoring in Hospitality Management from La Trobe University, Tarn spent over 20 years mastering the hotel industry across Australia, managing everything from five-star housekeeping teams to front office operations, and specializing in corporate events and weddings management. During her studies, Tarn lived on campus at the renowned Beechworth International Hotel School for a year, gaining intensive, hands-on training in luxury hospitality. She also worked in renowned wineries around Rutherglen and surrounding regions, building valuable experience in high-end service standards and attention to detail.

Throughout her career, Tarn traveled extensively around Australia, including working in remote mining towns in WA, NT and QLD in HR, where she developed deep knowledge of workplace safety, compliance, and rigorous standards—skills that now underpin Leopard Cleaning Services’ strong safety culture. She even cleaned offices and buildings along the haul roads in the mines, driving among massive dump trucks and performing cleaning tasks on draglines, demonstrating her adaptability and commitment to maintaining exceptional standards in demanding, high-risk environments. Along the way, she saw firsthand how exceptional cleaning standards are the backbone of any successful business or event.

Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and a commitment to bring professional cleaning services in Batemans Bay and the South Coast to her community, Tarn founded Leopard Cleaning Services. What started as a one-woman operation has grown into a powerhouse team of 20 kind, dedicated cleaners. Today, Leopard proudly services nearly 200 clients each week, specializing in aged care cleaning, domestic assistance, bond cleaning, insurance and workers’ compensation cleans, residential cleaning, resorts, cabin parks, and apartments, and holiday home cleaning.

At the heart of Leopard Cleaning Services is our exceptional team, who come from a wide range of backgrounds—including small business owners, parents who have temporarily stepped away from professional careers to work school hours, teachers, nurses, students studying locally, and semi-retired individuals. Our team spans ages 18 to 60, bringing a wealth of life experience and professionalism to every job.
